REMINDER Visit of Joan Sleigh Executive Council of the General Anthroposophical Society in Dornach
Dear Friends
We are fortunate that Joan Sleigh will be visiting us on September 9, 2017. She will first visit the Santa Cruz Waldorf School then Camphill and at 3.00 pm, she will join the Branch in a conversation at Paloma Hall, 4096 Fairway Drive, Soquel. The conversation will be open to all members and their guests and will provide us an opportunity to begin to know Joan, who will be assuming some of Virginia Sease's tasks in North America with the General Anthroposophical Society. John Bloom, General Secretary of the Anthroposophical Society in America will be accompanying Joan.
Joan Sleigh brings together many of the streams in the Anthroposophical Society. She is the granddaughter of Dr Karl König, the founder of Camphill and the daughter of a Christian Community priest, Rev. Julian Sleigh. Born in South Africa, she grew up in Camphill and was a Waldorf teacher for many years. She joined the Executive Council of the General Anthroposophical Society in 2013.
So that we can manage parking at Paloma Hall as well as seating, please respond if you plan to attend this exciting event.
In service,
