 December 17, 2017

Dear Members and friends,

The Christmas season is well upon us, the Third Advent Sunday, and as we head into this season of friendship and love for our fellow human beings, we would like to draw your attention to some events that will quickly come upon us.

On Saturday, December 23 at 6 pm at the Louden Nelson Community Center, there is the Paradise Play, at 6,45 pm the Shepherds Play.  Generally the Paradise Play is not recommended for those children not in the 3rd grade or higher.

From Tuesday, December 26th at 7 pm each night for the Holy Nights, we have the Holy Nights’ schedule.  A big vote of thanks to Wanda Taylor for organizing this schedule for all for us.  This year’s study will be the Gospel Of St Mark and we will meet in each other’s home over the Holy Nights.  A truly special community event.

On January 6th, 2018, at 4 pm, Camphill has invited Mary Anne Kirkwood to give her talk on “The Wise Heads of Kings, the Simple Shepherds' Hearts: Consciousness Soul in storytelling”.  A small donation of $10 is requested.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, there will be our annual music event, this time in Paloma Hall.  More details will be circulated in the near future but it is a time for those members of our community who have a valuable musical talent to entertain us all.

On Saturday, February 10, 2018, we will have a painting workshop with Jennifer Bundey thanks to Susan Cook – contact Susan through her email by clicking here –
Susan Cook.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2018 (Rudolf Steiner’s birthday), Penelope Baring will be giving a talk on Anthroposophical meditative practices – more details to follow.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, Dr. James Dyson will talk about Glen Williamson’s Future Dawning with which he has an intimate spiritual involvement and also his work with Physiologic/Psychiatry – more details to follow.
